EDIT 2: It has been over a week and I havent heard a thing even though "Joey" said Id hear back by the end of the week at the ABSOLUTE latest EDIT: after going through the reviews, it seems like this is normal for them... Let me start by saying this company literally broke into my truck. They are doing extremely shady stuff. JOEY at the east Boston location is a horrible excuse for a “supervisor,” and was extremely aggressive. For context, I was parked in front of my own apartment building to move furniture, with a note in my window explaining this. Without getting into the ongoing issues between my building and the MBTA police, residents get mixed instructions on parking out front. That being said, even if a tow was warranted, my truck wasn't obstructing anything. There was absolutely no need to pry my door open with metal to lock the steering wheel. If it was that urgent, they could have used a flatbed. During my recorded call with MBTA police, an officer actually agreed the door shouldn't have been touched. The kid towing my truck admitted to opening the door, and the officer confirmed seeing him do it. The kid’s excuse? It was his third day on the job. I honestly feel bad for him, he seemed genuinely upset when he saw his company’s reviews. I was charged $132 on a Sunday morning just to have them take my truck off their lift right in front of my residence. When I discovered the door damage, I was told there was no supervisor on duty and to "call the company." The driver claimed he took photos before touching the truck. When he showed them to me, he, the MBTA officer, and I all acknowledged there was ZERO prior damage. But when I asked him to send me those photos, he suddenly claimed "they aren't really that clear" and refused. When I asked again at their office, the "supervisor" told me they couldn't get them to me. I’d bet money those photos have been deleted or altered by now. I was told I had to drive 30 minutes to their East Boston location just to fill out a damage report; something I could have done online. After wasting my time and gas, I was immediately met with hostility. To make matters worse, a 20-something kid at the front desk was actively laughing at upset customers dealing with damage, fees, and unnecessary tows. I went in perfectly polite and only got upset when my concerns were repeatedly brushed aside. (If they try to deny this, I have my phone recording of the entire interaction, and let’s just say it does NOT reflect well on them). The supervisor, “Joey,” or at least that’s what he said his name was, came up with every excuse in the book, insisting they "must’ve had to" break into my truck. When I mentioned their 2.5-star Google rating, he got incredibly defensive, blaming "people like me who park illegally and don’t want to pay fees." He was super aggressive and has no business dealing with customers. At one point, he came up to the counter, raising his voice and approaching me until I had to step back and ask him to stop because I felt physically intimidated. Again, all recorded. When I asked what happens if they actually admit fault, I reminded them this is a $65,000 leased Toyota that's less than a year old. His response? "We have our own body shop." HAHAHA of course they do. Using a tow company's in-house body shop violates a Toyota lease agreement and isn't a viable solution. I asked for his supervisor and was just given the name "Matt," with zero contact info. I also asked how to get my $132 refunded since they never actually towed me and instead forced me to drive 30 minutes to get berated and gaslit. I was told to ask “Matt.” Everyone working there was rude, yelled, interrupted, and had zero de-escalation skills. I’d write more if Google allowed the characters. This is a classic, shady East Boston tow company. If your vehicle ends up here, I pray for you. It’s extremely clear what this damage was caused by, and that’s someone trying to pry open a door with something metal. The paint chipping and denting is mirrored identically on the trucks frame and the frame of the door.Posted on Marvin VasquezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is the most predatory of towing company out there my car was in their lot less than 30 minutes and they had a 35$ fee per day when it hasn’t been a day that they stored it there it quite repulsive and evilPosted on Rachel FosterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My car had to be towed out of the O’Neil - and having AAA became extremely useless. The guys at their desk were very understanding and helpful and willing to adapt to help me. It took a long time for my car to get back to their lot, but they towed it to my destination nearly right after that and helped me with reimbursement from AAA. They made a horrible situation somewhat better & I appreciate that!Posted on Aleksei SemeniukTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They towed my car that was parked in a wrong spot. Unpleasant, but understandable. But they broke in the car, I guess to release the parking brake, scratched the paint, bent the driver's door frame and put a few dents on the interior. On top of that they put the sticker on the driver's door glass that is extremely sticky. I spent 20 minutes removing and cleaning the residue. Looks like they really like damaging people's cars. Wish they go bankrupt ASAP.Posted on Jodi FawcettTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give it a zero I would. Damaged my car while towing and can’t get a hold of the boss. Had to file police report!
