Unprofessional staff and predatory fees This company was dispatched by the police after my accident, and my experience with them was terrible. Their staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I brought my insurance company’s tow truck to retrieve my vehicle, they refused to let us roll/tow the car out—claiming it wasn't rollable—just so they could charge me an unnecessary "Gate Fee." On top of that, they charged an exorbitant amount for holding the car for only 6 hours. They clearly take advantage of people during already stressful situations. Shoutout to the polite and receptionist who's name I was too mad to remember; They had my itemized invoice, compliant with Massachusetts law, printed and ready. I am not normally one to write reviews, but the level of incompetence and unprofessionalism I experienced with this towing company warranted one. My vehicle was towed from Silver Line Way during Sail Boston in July 2026. While I am not writing this review to dispute the tow itself, the experience at the tow lot and afterward was extremely disappointing. I was told over the phone that someone would be in the office within three minutes to assist me, yet I waited nearly an hour outside the lot before anyone arrived. I was then presented with a payment link for $450 upon retrieving my vehicle, roughly three times what I was actually supposed to pay for one overnight stay. ONLY after I questioned the amount was the payment link corrected. More seriously, upon retrieving my vehicle, I discovered multiple scratches on the hood and significant scuffing, paint transfer, and abrasions on the front passenger side bumper that were not present prior to the tow. I promptly submitted a detailed damage claim to the Operations Manager, Matt Mazzarella, including photographs, my license plate, and all relevant information. It has now been a month of repeated email and in-office followups with little to no meaningful response. Despite contacting the office on four separate occasions, I have been unable to get this matter properly addressed due to continued non responsiveness, lack of communication, and a complete lack of accountability. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism in handling the resulting damage is unacceptable. My car was towed from the south end for "street sweeping". "Street Sweeping" is the literal bane of my existence. No hard feelings toward the towing company. Gavin let me and my two friends ride with him to the towing location, which was fun. He played fetty wap in the car, also appreciated. The woman in the office was lovely and had a nice dog.
